About our Photo Tours

Adventures thru the Lens Photo Tours are Urban Adventures. The goal is for travelers to:


• Discover and experience a city through the eyes of a local photographer.
• Encourage the observation of new viewpoints and interesting details which might easily be overlooked.
• To improve photography technique.
• To have a more interesting experience and involvement when visiting a city.
• Have fun
 

Our English-speaking Photographers have in-depth local knowledge, a passion for their city and for the art of photography. Photographers are carefully selected for their breadth of style and experience in either travel or photo-documentary/reportage.
So bring your camera and be prepared to walk, shoot and click


Half Day Photography Adventures Tours in
San Diego

Some of the things you will learn:

  • how to work with light and shadows in a creative way

  • how to use photographic techniques to create your personal vision

  • how to get the best photos in every situation

  • how to be ready to capture the moment.

San Diego Thru The Lens

Balboa Park offers beautiful architecture, picturesque gardens, museums, restaurants, an organ pavillion, The Old Globe Theater and is also the cultural hub of San Diego. It is nestled in the middle of San Diego and is in walking distance to downtown, the San Diego Zoo and the vibrant community of Hillcrest.


STARTING POINT: The Boat House at North Avenue Beach - North East Corner of Boat House facing the lake and infront of the Life Guard Station.

ENDING POINT: At the fountain next to Natural History Museum

Sunday :
3:00pm - 7:00pm  (Except Jan, Feb, Mar, Nov, Dec)
1:00pm - 5:00pm (Except April-October)

Tour Fee per person : $US 175

Additional Information

• Participants must have a basic knowledge of their cameras.
• We reserve the right to change the route based on local conditions.
• Tours leave rain or shine. In extreme conditions please call the local number.
• We suggest good walking shoes, a lightweight poncho, in case it rains and in high temperatures a small bottle of water & sun hat.
• A lightweight tripod is recommended for evening sessions
• Clients who have not booked this activity in conjunction with a hotel are advised to provide contact details
• Fee is non-refundable.
